     2002 OBITUARY: Albany- Nina Lucille Garriott of Albany died Thursday at her home. She was 86. She was born in Liberty, KS, to John W and Minnie (Crandall) Wade. She and Samuel Leslie Garriott were married on May 10, 1933, in Eureka, KS. They moved to Oregon in 1936 and settled in the Blodgett-Summit area, where they farmed. In 1959 they moved to Philomath. Mr Garriott died Sep 5, 1984, and Mrs Garriott moved to Albany in 1988. She was a homemaker who liked to read, bake and do yard work, especially in her flower garden.
     She is survived by her daughter Sharon Kay Falk of Halsey, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
     Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at Mt Union Cemetery, Philomath. Memorial contributions may be made to Providence Children's Center for Mrs Garriott's great-granddaughter Bailey Lynnette Falk, in care of McHenry's Funeral Home, 206 NW Fifth St, Corvallis, OR 97330.
