     1940 Salem, Wash Co, IN census: has (all b. IN) Ivan Zaring 49, Insurance; Maude Zaring 50; Barbara Zaring 16; and Eloise Zaring 14.

     1960 OBITUARY: Maude Watkins Zaring, dau. of Joseph and Alma H Watkins, was born near Crawfordsville, IN 25 Feb 1890, and died in the Wash County Hospital 23 Jan 1960, age 69. She received a degree from Indiana University and taught in high schools of Elwood, LaPorte, South Bend, and Tech of Indianapolis. She married Ivan Zaring, 27 Jul 1920, and lived in Salem 40 years. Active in club and community work she was postmaster from 1931 to 1935 and a member of Weir Memorial Methodist Church.
