     BIOGRAPHY: Hays Thomas Jr Watkins received a BS in accounting from Western Kentucky University (1947), an MBA from Northwestern University (1948), was Administrator, Board of Visitors, College of William and Mary (as rector 1987-1993). He was a member of the board of Black & Decker, Chessie System, CSX, Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and Westinghouse. He was CEO of Chessie System (1973-1980), President and/or CEO of CSX (1980-1989). He served in the US Army (1945-1947).
