     1946 OBITUARY: Carlisle Barrickman, 54, was killed instantly Thursday at his home in Bagdad, when he was hit by a car. He is survived by his wife: Mrs Cleo Land Barrickman; one daughter: Mrs Pete Swindler, Shelbyville; two sons: Edward Ellis Barrickman, in the Navy, and Buster Barrickman, recently discharged from the service and now at Bagdad; four brothers: Wallace, J W, Ira Gordon and B Barrickman. Funeral services were conducted at the Bagdad Baptist Church at 3:00 pm, Saturday. Burial was in the Bagdad Cemetery.
