Kay 2nd married Thomas Francis WHEELER, Viet Nam: 1965-1966, wounded in action, in 1972, Marion County, IN, son of Francis Wheeler and Beatrice Hauptman, US Army, divorced 1979, had two children;
Kay 3rd married Larry SMITH in Nov 1983, divorced in 1984, no issue;
Kay 4th married Harold Gene MINTER [b. 23 Jun 1948; d. 30 Nov 2014, Indianapolis, Marion Co, IN- age 66, bur. Washington Park East Cemetery].
BIOGRAPHY: Betty Lee worked at the Aluminum Plant in Lafayette, Indiana prior to her marriage. She then moved, after the war, to Martinsville, IN and purchased a beauty shop with her friend, Iva. The girls agreed that the first one married would sell their interest to the other partner. At a USO show they both met men that they subsequently married. Betty later worked at Ft Benjamin Harrison Army Finance Center in Indianapolis.

MILITARY: Wilmer joined the US Navy, but was transferred to the Marine Corps. He served as a 1st Class Pharmacist Mate in World War 2 stationed in the South Pacific, Guadalcanal, and Iwo Jima, 1941-1945. He was in the naval reserves for 14 years.

2010 OBITUARY: Kay T Minter 59, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2010. Kay worked in transportation at Ft Benjamin Harrison. Kay was a member of Lawrence United Methodist Church, VFW #261, and American Legion #495. Kay is survived by her husband, Harold Gene Minter; son, David Wheeler; daughter, Susan Walters; grandson, Austin Michael, and sister, Sheryl Moore.
