     BIOGRAPHY: Tad and Esther lived in Powersville, Putnam Co, MO, in the early part of their married life, then moved to Pequot Lakes, Crow Wing Co, MN, then, after a few years, moved again to Richmond, Contra Costa Co, CA. In Minnesota, Tad changed his name, unofficially, from Tad Garriott to Ted Garrett.
