     CHILDREN: Ruby and Ejnar had three children.

     BIOGRAPHY: The following article was written by Olive Gablehouse prior to Ruby & Ejnar's death:
     "Ruby, eldest daughter of Simeon and Mae Garriott was born at home on the farm one Christmas Day after her mother had prepared and served a Christmas dinner to the family. Dr Girvin had to make the twelve mile trip by horse and sleigh to be present for the birth.
     Her first nine years of schooling were at Crowfoot after which she attended High School at Calgary, Strathmore and Rockyford. She then attended Olds School of Agriculture taking a one year Home Economics course, worked in Calgary for a while then lived at home until she married Ejnar Petersen who lived with his mother, Mrs Frantz, on a farm south of Strathmore.
     After their marriage they lived for short periods at Longview and Rockyford. From Rockyford they moved to Calgary, then Edmonton and Manville and finally back to Edmonton where they have lived since 1952. Ruby and Ejnar have three sons, Gary, Wayne and Dale. Gary and Wayne live on acreages near Edmonton and Dale in California. There are six grandchildren. They now live in retirement in Edmonton.
