1983 OBITUARY: Noble L Carter, 81, 613 Highland Ave, Carrollton, died Tuesday at his residence. He was a native of Gratz, KY, and was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are four sons: Otis, Campbellsburg (KY); Lytle, Lexington (KY); Douglas, Jeffersonville (IN); and Raymond, Louisville (KY); two brothers: Gaines and Irvin, both of Carrollton (KY); two sisters: Annabelle Leising, Covington (KY), Lucy Harmon, Milton (KY), and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, on 1 Jan of this year (1983).
Service will be at 2 PM EDT tomorrow at the Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, with burial at the IOOF Carrollton Cemetery.

1994 OBITUARY: William R Garriott died May 27 at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 38. Memorial service will be private. Metrocrest Funeral Home in Carrollton is in charge of arrangements. 2009 OBITUARY: Josephine Little Duggan, 65, of Madison, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born June 20, 1944, in Carrollton, KY, the daughter of John and Goldie Garriott Little. She was raised in Carroll County, KY, and attended school there. She lived in Madison from 1967 to 1984. She was employed with Reliance Electric for 10 years as an assembler. She and her husband lived for nearly 25 years in Dallas, Texas, where she worked at Honey Baked Hams. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, music and watching NASCAR, especially driver Jeff Gordon.
She is survived by her husband, Maurice R "Butch" Duggan, whom she married June 20, 1993; one daughter, Tina Johnson of Madison; two sons, Richard Johnson of Denver, CO, and Steven Johnson of Madison; one stepson, Daniel Duggan of Madison; two sisters, Helen Manley of Indianapolis and Kathryn Knox of Bedford, KY; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bill Little; and one sister, Louise Grubbs. The funeral was at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial was in Vevay Cemetery.

2010 OBITUARY: Eliza Kathryn Little Knox, 77, Bedford, KY, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at Baptist Northeast Hospital in LaGrange, Ky. Mrs. Knox was born Aug. 31, 1933, in Carrollton, KY, to the late John and Goldie Garrett Little.
Survivors include her son, John Knox of Bedford, KY, and a sister, Helen Manley of Indiana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Little; two sisters, Josephine Little Duggan and Louise Parker.
Services were Monday Oct. 11, at the Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford.

2011 OBITUARY: Mr Joseph Allen "Joe" Garriott, age 73, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on Christmas Day in 1937 in Carroll County, Kentucky, the son of the late Luke and Aline McDole Garriott. He was a 1956 graduate of Carroll County High School and was first united in marriage to Martha Ann Welch on May 29, 1959 in Carrollton, Kentucky and to this union came a son and a daughter to bless their home. He began a 50 plus year career with the Kroger Company, starting in the Carrollton store working his way up to Head Stock Clerk, retiring in 1999 and he later began working in the Madison Store in 2005 as a Stocker. He was later united in marriage to Nancy Carol Oak Ray at Calvary Baptist Church in Madison, Indiana on October 4, 1999. He liked shuffleboard, fishing, and baseball. Joe was an avid fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats and enjoyed the basketball program and was a season ticket holder for the football program. Joe was a loving husband and an awesome grandfather. Joe died Monday, April 25, 2011 at 10:31 pm at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville Kentucky.

2020 OBITUARY: Helen L (Little) Richards Manley, 81, of Martinsville, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born Tuesday, September 27, 1938 to the late John and Golda (Garriott) Little. In August of 1958, she married her first husband, Arthur Richards who passed away in June of 1995. Helen was faithful Christian woman and a member of First Church of God. She loved her family and devoted her life to taking care of them. When she wasn’t taking care of her family, she was tending to her flowers and making crafts.
She is survived by her second husband, Morris Manley who she married in September of 1997; son, Mark Richards and wife Debbie of Martinsville; daughters, Linda Snyder and husband Frank of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Bonnie Manley of Franklin; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her first husband and parents; brother, William Little; sisters, Kathrine Knox, Louise Grubbs, Josephine Duggan. Private services for the family are Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Costin Funeral Chapel in Martinsville. Burial is at Hilldale Cemetery in Martinsville.

2020 OBITUARY: Mrs Elizabeth B "Liz" (Chase) Little, age 72, of Florence, Indiana, entered this life on January 30, 1948 in Florence, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late, Clarence and Mary Ellen (Reed) Chase. She was raised in Florence, Indiana and was a 1966 graduate of Vevay High School. Liz was united in marriage to William O Little on May 20, 1967 and this happy union was blessed with a son, Keith. Liz and William shared nearly 21 years of marriage together until he passed away on December 1, 1988. Liz was employed for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana for several years. She was also employed as a dealer for Belterra Casino & Resort in Florence, Indiana, for 13 years. Liz loved animals and supported the Swiss Family and Friends program where she fostered animals for two years. Liz also enjoyed helping others and sponsored many children in the Angel Tree program. Spending time with her family was her favorite thing to do especially with her grandchildren, Brittanie and Brandon and her great-grandson, Mason. She was looking forward to meeting her new great-grandson, Breyer. Liz also enjoyed doing yard work and attending family reunions and the annual family Easter egg hunt. Liz will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. Liz passed away on Thursday. June 11, 2020, at her residence in Florence, Indiana.
Liz will be lovingly remembered by her son, Keith Little and his wife, Jean of Florence, IN; her grandchildren, Brittanie Little of Madison, IN and Brandon Little of Florence, IN; her great-grandchildren, Mason Oakley Little and Breyer Oakley Little; her brother, Clarence "Buster" Chase, Jr and his wife, Norma of Vevay, IN; her several nieces and nephews and her sisters-in-law, Doris Chase of Florence, IN, Helen Richards of Martinsville, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mary Ellen (Reed) Chase; her husband, William O Little; her sisters, Leo "Ike" Chase, Viola "Sis" Gregory, Cora Wilson, Geraldine Peters, Ruth Romans, Beulah Ann "Bootie" Thornton and Betty Raisor; her brothers, Donald Lee Chase and Paul Vernon Chase and her niece, Lorri Lee Sullivan.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 1 pm, by Rev. Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
