     Franklin Yewell, born in Oldham Co, KY, moved to Daviess Co, KY at the age of 12. For many years he operated an extensive farm and stock-raising business southeast of Owensboro, later removing to Owensboro and engaging in the real estate and loan business.  He was a staunch Baptist and reared his family in the faith.
