     1832 LAND SALE: [Culpeper Co, VA Deed Book YY/299, dated 14 Feb 1832]For $642.50, John Lillard sells to Reuben White (Clark), "A certain tract or lot of land, it being part of the land deeded to Benjamin Lillard Jr. and John Lillard from their father Thomas Lillard, deceased.... and since that [has] been divided into lots and this sold is No. 1..... 145 acres."

     1833 WILL: [Rappahannock Co, VA, Will Book A, dated 21 Dec 1833] "I, John Lillard do hereby make and leave this my last will and testament revoaking [sic] all other will or wills heretofore made by me."
     "In the first place it is my wish and desire that all my just debts shall be paid out of my estate one of which I bear some of sixty dollars I owe to my daughter Frances Miller and interest thirteen years thereon."
     It is my wish and desire that my daughter Polly Carter shall heir the remainder of my estate after paying all my just debts as named in the first itim."
     I do hereby will Mr Benjamin Tutt to act as my executor to this my last will and testament." signed John X Lillard, witnessed by Paul Yates, Soloman Davis, George W Carter.

     1834 WILL RECORDED: [Rappahannock Co, VA Court, 3 Feb 1834] The last will and testament of John Lillard, deceased was this day exhibited to the court and proved by the oaths of Paul Yates and George W Carter two of the subscribing witnesses thereto, and ordered to be recorded.

     1834 DEATH: [Rappahannock Co, VA, Book A/121, February Court 1834]"On motion, it is ordered to be certified that it was proven to the satisfaction of the Court that John Lillard, deceased a Revolutionary Pensioner departed this life on the 12 day of January 1834, leaving no widow and that: Nancy Bryant, Benjamin Lillard, Frances Miller, Elizabeth Yates, Mary Carter, Melinda Corbin, Catherine Stone and Silas Lillard children of John Lillard are the heirs and only heirs at law of the said John Lillard, deceased.
